Stephen G. Shafer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen G. Shafer (Colbert, Washington), who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Gail Shafer and Phyllis Shafer; his wife Mary Beth; his children, Eric Shafer (Michelle) and Kirsten McNeil (Sean); his siblings, Phil Shafer (Sandy) and Esta Turner; and his grandchildren, Evan, Teagan Shafer and Claire McNeil. He was also cherished by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Spokane or St. Jude's Children's Research Center.
