She was loved and cherished by many people including : her siblings, Merrilie Sharon and Maynard Leslie; her husband Bill Cox of Pomeroy; her children, Andria Nichole, Joshua Christopher and Piper Leslie; her grandchildren, Autumn, Averi, Andi, Jim Lewis of Tualatin, Ore., Cooper, Abigail, Josh, Nikki Cox of Moscow, Jillian, Kyzer Herres, Piper and Nick Herres of Pomeroy; and her parents, Leslie and Maxine.

Donations will go toward research to understand and hopefully prevent blindness that Terrilie dealt with.

Christa Stollery wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Cousin Terrilie, This a quiet, calm, time of remembrance. We were kids together and spent a lot of time visiting between Shirley's home and Maxine's. Two different environments that brought our families together. Lots of play, music, gardening, and sharing of meals with the girls. We pray for Maxine, she has had a lot of sadness in losing her kids. Lord please help her to find peace in these hard times. For we share in her grief for her family.
