He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Thompson and Lillian Thompson (Kliment); his in-laws, LaVerne and Bessie Johnson; and his siblings, Stanley, David and Sandra Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his daughter Nicole Cone (David); his grandchildren, Justin Pitcher (Alex), Tre'Pitcher, Logan Pitcher and Gavin Cone; his sister Mary Susan Thompson (Kan) of Wichita; and his siblings-in-law, Rebecca, Steven Perl of Novato, Calif, Joan and Bob Dean of Vallejo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many wonderful friends.
He was on one of the first Tri-State Foundation boards, and was part of one of the first Festival of Trees fundraisers that was held on the front lawn of the hospital.
