It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ellen Markel of Chewelah, Washington, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis and Charlotte Ann Earnheart (Leslein). She is survived by: her husband Patrick Markel of Chewelah, WA; her children, Ryan P. Markel (Aubrey) of Chewelah, WA, Scott T. Markel (Amanda) of Post Falls, ID and Elizabeth Espinoza (Jon) of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Allison Markel, James L. Markel and Georgia Espinoza; and her siblings, Jon Earnheart (Barbara) of Columbus, OH and Becky McLaughlin (Glen) of Clancy, MT. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriner's Hospital.
