He is survived by: his parents, Jim Day and Waneta Day (Gentis); his wife Gina Kassa; his cousins, Roger Harding, Kelly (Harding) and Dave Stahl; his friend David Wissink; his daughter Tara; his son-in-law Bo McCanna; his son Mikey Day; his grandchildren, Mylie, Darrin, Meagan, Jack, Hannah McCanna, Tehya, Raelee and Kalyena Day; and his siblings, Rhonda and Jim. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
