He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edythe Crumley Smith and Angus Roderick Smith; his siblings, Donald Gale Smith, Norman Keith Smith and Estelle Smith (Peggy); his wife Norma June Gillaspie; and his children, Mallory Thomas (Chuck), Steve Smith (Reesie) and Suzanne Smith (Guillermo). He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
