He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Elavsky of Akeley and Mary Elavsky (Profant) of Akeley; and his children, Michael Elavsky and Cheri Elavsky. He is survived by: his former wife Lorraine L. Sloan; his children, Marlys Appleton (Elavsky) of Riverdale, NY and Gregory W. Elavsky (Sharon) of Kalispell, MT.; and his wife Doris Strandberg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a great nephew.
