She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Thompson; and her son Rick Peters. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Hansen (Lonnie) and Bob Peters (Shawn). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society to support breast cancer research.
