He was predeceased by: his niece Raveena Fanning; and his grandparents, Faith Secena Vandervort, Charles Henderson, Jeanette Fifield and Ronald Fanning.

He is survived by: his parents, Joyce Fanning of Chehalis and Scott Fanning of Centralia; his brothers, Ron Fanning (Alissa) of Chehalis and Jeremy Fanning of Grand Mound; his nephew Abe; and his niece Hester.
