It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George A. Thorngate (Chattaroy, Washington), who passed away on September 10, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter "Bus" Thorngate, Doris Annyas, Dorothy Thorngate and Patricia Thorngate. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Thorngate of Marysville; his sons, David Thorngate (Paula) of Chattaroy, Rodney Thorngate of Marysville, Bradley Thorngate of Hannibal and Scott Thorngate (Denise) of Marysville; and his sister Carol Moser (Rick) of Snohmish. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
