He was predeceased by: his parents, Shade Coleman and Lilly Coleman (Vernon); his former wife Sharon Hefty; his son Bruce (Cheryl Shondel); and his daughter-in-law Becky (Kevin).

He is survived by: his wife Verna Bamford; and his children, Kevin (Rhonda), Gordon (Sheryl), Keith (Lynn), Sean (Becky), MaryEllen Holman (Travis) and Amy Hazen (Rob). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
