He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harold McClees and Ethel Heldenbrand McClees; his siblings, Harold McClees and Rosemarie McClees Tharldson; and his former wife Mabel Evelyn McClees.
He is survived by: his wife Charalene Bayer McClees; his sister Marla McClees Inman; his children, John McClees (Linda), David McClees (Becky) and Julie McClees Duke (Bob); and his stepdaughter Carla Bower (Tom). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren; his 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
