He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Olmsted and Frances Olmsted; and his grandparents, John and Ida Smith. He is survived by: his wife Maryln Olmsted; his children, Rodney A. Olmsted, Dan P. Olmsted and Sandra Olmsted; his siblings, Merle Olmsted, Steve Fort and Sharon Neuert; and his stepsister Darlene Bischoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
