He was predeceased by: his son Dennis; and his brothers, Doyle Slape, Lloyd Slape and Wade Slape. He is survived by: his spouse Betty; his sister Dorsella O'Neil of East Wenatchee, WA; and also, James Slape (Joyce), Kenneth Slape of Onalaska, WA and Pamela Althauser (Mark) of Centralia, WA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
