He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Rogers and Roberta Rogers (Shackelford); his grandparents, Harry, May Rogers, Della, William Shackelford and Marmie Shackelford; his aunts, Joyce (Don Gossett) and Sylvia (Albert Meyers); and his uncle William "Bud" Shackelford.
He is survived by: his wife Kathi Wallace; his children, Katherine (Nick) and Kristopher (Hahli); his grandchildren, Sam, Alex, Estyn and Peyton; his godchildren, Zachary and Christian Joy; his siblings, Leonard and Rita; his aunts, Helen and Sharon; and also Danny Rex. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
