It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Vernice Baker in Castle Rock, Washington, born in Longview, Washington, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Alana Odem (Lonnie), Sherry Brewer (Steve), Marvin Baker (Sue), David Baker (Liz), Craig Baker (Judy), Deanna Zdilar (Jim), Dennis Baker (Heather) and Jeff Baker (Andrea); her brothers, Gary Gilkerson (Sunee), Ron Gilkerson (Nancy) and Gale Gilkerson; her aunt Delores Smith; her husband Marvin Baker; her parents, Edward Gilkerson and Minerva Gilkerson; and her sister Marcella Gilkerson. She was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.
