She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Oakes and Esther Oakes; her siblings, Virginia, Joyce and Robert; and her granddaughter Desiree.

She is survived by: her husband Elmo Fronsman; her children, Debi, Terry and Rebecca; and her brother James. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
