He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hofer and Margorie Hofer; his siblings, Carol Bolough, Ronney Hofer, Clifford Hofer and Rosie Mauch; and his granddaughter Kendra Odekirk.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Trudy (Todd Anderson), Sherrie Ferguson, Don, Jennifer Hofer, Tom Hofer, Christy (Jack Judkins), Daryn, Mary Robbins, Barry and Candy Robbins; and his siblings, Marie King, Jerry, Annabelle Hofer, Betty Jean Hofer and Luann McKinnon. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
