Will be missed by all who knew him." William "Bill" D. Burrese, 78, Army veteran and life-long resident of Camas, WA, passed away July 20, 2018. He graduated from Camas High School (Class of '58). Bill retired from Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill. He served his community by volunteering as Santa, collecting donations for the Treasure House and helping the Camas Booster Club. Bill was an enthusiastic supporter of the Camas High School Football program; running the time clock for over 50 years. He was an umpire for the C-W Little League. In his free time, you could find him outdoors hunting or fishing. Bill enjoyed showing his 1995 Mustang GT convertible in the multiple car club memberships he had. He drove it in the annual Camas Days parade. Bill is survived by his sons, Billy, Mike (Shannon) and Matt; and granddaughters, Taylor Wilson and Jaedyn Burrese. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Sharon (Starks) in 2012; his daughter, Sharyl (Wilson) in 2009; and son-in-law, Shane Wilson in 2010. A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 1206 NE Birch St., Camas, WA 98607 on Sun., Sept. 9th at 2 p.m.
