He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Thom Armstrong and Vivian C. Armstrong; his wife Doris D. Armstrong; his grandson Todd Armstrong; his nephew Craig Skadsen; his sister Marian Christianson; and his niece Ruth Christianson Riddell.
He is survived by: his children, Thom M. Armstrong (Cheryl) of Claremont, CA, John W. Armstrong (Elaine) of Camas, WA, Sheri L. Swank (Doug) of Camas, WA and Michael K. Armstrong of Portland, OR; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Zach, Michael Ryan, Amanda, Laurie, Cindy, Kevin and Christopher. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
