She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Root and Harriet Root (Emmert). She is survived by: her husband Curtis R Strong; her children, David Strong (April) of Vancouver and Julie Can (Ryan) of Colorado Springs; and her sister Julie Root of California. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
