She was predeceased by: her husband Earl E. Garland; her siblings, Kay Holliday Pease, Bruce Holliday and Margie Lewis Miller; and also Aunt Bethel Bennett.
She is survived by: her spouse Naval Officer; her children, Judy Lynn Garland Tyykila (Thomas) of Sedro-Woolley, Cheryl Ann Garland McGary (Charles) of Spirit Lake, Jeffrey Allen Garland (Lorie) of Highlandville and Theodore Earl Garland (Li) of Long Beach; and her siblings, Betty Holliday Cherry of Seattle and Daniel "Buddy" Holliday of Camano Island. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and her thirteen great-grandchildren.
