He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie and Daisy. He is survived by: his friends, Steve, Norma, Ponk Aviation and Fern; his wife Fern; his sons, James E. Swanson (Deborah) of Honolulu and John K. Swanson (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Justin Swanson, Julianne Vollans, Jessica Swanson, Jeffery Swanson and Rocky Swanson. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
