It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Gaines of Burlington, Washington, born in Everett, Washington, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Gaines and Rollie Gaines; his wife Laurice Major; his sister Lynn Metcalf; and his father-in-law Dick Major.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea, Melissa Gaines of Bellingham and Ryan Lemos of Burlington; his grandchildren, Serafina and Anthony Lemos of Burlington; his siblings, Kathie Westerfield of LaQuinta, CA and David Gaines (Pam Englett) of Sedro-Woolley; and his mother-in-law Patricia Major of Burlington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
