With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Mejia of Burlington, Washington, born in Donna, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Martha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cruz Garcia Mejia Sr. and Josefina Webber Sarmento; her grandson Vincent Lee Anthony Mejia; her son-in-law Jose Luis Morales Sr.; and her brother Diamond.
She is survived by: her husband Antonio L Pena; and her children, Antonio Mejia Cheka (Sandra), Pedro C. Pena Gonzales (Caroline), Ramon Mejia-Loa, Rachel Mejia Morales, Veronica Mejia Zavala (Rogelio) and Susana Mejia Rocha (Juan). She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; 2 sisters; 4 brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
