It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lou Westergard (Burien, Washington), born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Connelly and Tena Mae Connelly; her brothers, Donald Wilfred and Ronald Bruce; her former husband Stanley Kenneth Halva; her son Stanley Keith Halva; her husband Ivan James Westergard; her children, Donald James, Sheila Mae, Kathi Dawn Taylor and Donald Westergard; her children-in-law, Jeff Taylor, Helen Graves Halva and Laura Jean Westergard (Flemer); and her grandchildren, Wade Halva, Brandi Herrin, Reid Halva, Kelli Schramm (Snyder) and Kristina Flores (Corcoran). She was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial donations can be made to the American Stroke Foundation.
