She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Nute and Dorothy L. Nute; her husband Jim; and her brother Bill. She is survived by: her brothers, Bob and John; and her stepsons, Mike and Bowe Lemmon (Jeff Gale). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in memory of Ginny Lemmon.
