Fusako Akimoto Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2024, at the age of 91, Fusako Akimoto of Burien, Washington, born in Tacoma, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jintaro "Gene" Uyeda and Josie Uyeda; her brother Sam; and her husband Bob Minoru Akimoto. She is survived by: her sister Luana Yoshino; and her sister-in-law Alice Uyeda. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was a member of Blaine Memorial UMC and the Seattle Hiroshima Club, and she was a lifetime member of the Nisei Veterans Foundation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blaine Memorial UMC.
