She was predeceased by: her parents, Idus Claud and Edna Almeda Anderson (Lowery); her husband Dean Phaon Gager; her son Larry; and her siblings, Woody, Gene and Theo Childress.

She is survived by: her daughter Carole Brimhall; her grandchildren, Lonnie, Andrew, Kari and Marc; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Jasmine, Madelin and Molly.
