The memory of Betty Jeanne Ivey Tretheway of Bucoda, Washington, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Baumgardner and Elva Braham; her stepfather Clarence Braham; her husbands, Edwin G. "Gib" Ivey, Jr. and Wilfred Tretheway; and her daughter Becky Marshel (Dale).
She is survived by: her children, Pam Ivey, Terry Guynn (Fred), Michelle Lind (Larry), Leslie Reed (John), Tim Tretheway (Sharon), Carolyn Crawford (Terry) and David Tretheway (Bobbie); her sister-in-law Sissy Evans; and her friend Marilyn Ritter. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary. A rosary was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (2807 15th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Forest Grove Cemetery (18011 Northcraft Rd SE, Tenino, WA 98589).
