With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Schipper of Buckley, Washington, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Betty left this world on April 14, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Rothleutner and Helen Rothleutner. She is survived by: her husband Peter Schipper; her children, Michael and Marva; her granddaughter Elizabeth; her sister Shirley Ann Nelson of Montana; her daughters, Wanda Madill (Tony), Claudia Shirey (David) and Taylor VanCleave; her son-in-law Kyle Smith; and her grandchildren, John, Erica, Kevin, April, Nicholas, David, Holly, Whitney, Justin, Gunnar, Dakota and Duke. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park (451 Cemetery Rd, Buckley, WA 98321). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Rainier Christian Center (1878 Osceola St N, Enumclaw, WA 98022).
