He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Monroe and Annie May Patrick (Merryman) of Almyra; his daughter Anita; and his siblings, Floyd, Charlie, Clara Stewart (Phil), Rachel Fulton (Roy) and Becky Burton (John).

He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Russ Patrick (Debbie) and Darryl Patrick (Karen); and his son-in-law Roger Bonner. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
