She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlin Laes and Betty Laes (Brown); and her brother Ronald Laes. She is survived by: her cousin Linda Rahman; her husband David; her children, Brandi (Exarhos) and Christian; her sister Tari Laes; her son-in-law Chris; and her granddaughters, Parker and Brodie.
