He was predeceased by: his mother Jacqueline Barnett. He is survived by: his father Luther Barnett; his daughters, Anne Barnett and Anna Healey; and his brothers, Larry, Jeff, Michael and Keith Barnett.

He was known for becoming an ordained minister and made a lasting impact on the community through donating to non-profit individuals on their path to healing.
