She was predeceased by: her parents, John Murdzia and Helen Murdzia; her husband Joseph Lewis Knifong; and her sons, Tommy Knifong and Joseph A. Knifong.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Widdifield, Phillip and Gerald Knifong; her grandchildren, Alainna, Elizabeth, Sophie, Autumn and April; and her siblings, Marcia Riler and Donald J. Murdzia. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
