She is survived by: her husband Larry Cavanaugh; her children, Sharon Schamber (Al Schamber), Anne Fuchs (Bob Fuchs), Carla Steenerson (Rick Steenerson) and Patrick Cavanaugh (Christie Cavanaugh); her brother Dr. George Redrich; her sister-in-law Lynn Redrich; her grandchildren, Meghan Larson (Luke Larsen), Joe Cavanaugh, Wren Cavanaugh and Matthew Cavanaugh; and her great grandchildren, Ben and Nora Larsen.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to the St. Charles Borromeo food bank.
