Chiyoko Tate Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chiyoko Tate (Bremerton, Washington), who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Takeichi Tachizawa and Masako Tachizawa; her husband Kenneth Tate (S. Navy Sailor); and her sister Sachiko Tachizawa. She is survived by: her children, Stanley, Jennifer (Carl Neuman) and Timothy; her grandchildren, Jason Tate (Andrea Jai), Savannah Tate, Cody Tate and Kira Neuman; her great grandchildren, Kira and Nalani; her siblings, Fukiko Yamamoto (Katsumi), Katsuko Ookatsu and Kiyoshi Tachizawa (Sachiko); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Lillieqvest and Loretta Richmond. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
