He was predeceased by: his father Luan Van Nguyen; his grandmothers, Trieu Xuan and Hua; and his cousins, Thong Nguyen, Mai Nguyen and Mariaraphaella.
He is survived by: his wife Bounmy; his children, Tyler, Elaina and Alex; his sister Loan Kim; his son Loan Kim; his siblings, Bich Phuong (David), Hoang (Rosa), Long (Suyun) and Hai Joe (Holly); and his nieces and nephews, Ember, Skyler, Jared, Christian, Trinity, Alexis, Christopher, Anthony, Eloisa, Jaden, Selene, Connor, Hailey and Joseph. He is also survived by four uncles, four aunts, and cousins, and second cousins.
