It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Galles Hager of Bothell, Washington, born in Kingsley, Iowa, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Galles and Iola Galles (Johnson); her brothers, Gerry Galles and John Galles; and her brother-in-law Richard Ortner.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sister Michaela Galles of Dubuque, Clara Beth Ortner of Holstein, Jenni Malsam (Joe) of Sioux City, Iowa, Joe Galles (Madeline) of Cedar Rapids and Jim Galles (Connie) of Sioux City, Iowa; her sister-in-law Lois Galles of Kingsley, Iowa; her husband Jim Hager of Renton, Washington; her daughter Elizabeth Anne Spiller (Ryan) of Olympia; her grandchildren, Molly (Brad), Jake and Jona; her children, James Andrew Hager of Hermosa Beach, California and Nicole Celeste Hager (Sarah Jahries) of Maplewood; her grandchildren, Rylie, Martha, Charlie and Robby; her sons, Jonathon Alexander Hager (Luci Sinor) of Snohomish and Nicholas Anthony Hager (Antoinette) of Seattle; her granddaughter Bella Jean; her daughter Erin Michaela Crane (Brian) of Woodinville; her grandchildren, Taylor and Jakson; her daughter Jennifer Anne Clark (Clayton) of Bothell; and her grandchildren, Gavin and Mia.
