She was predeceased by: her aunt Nancy Rybak; and her cousin Jimmy Koran. She is survived by: her father James B. Knaus (Linda Knaus); her husband Chris Carter; her mother Gail Klima-Knaus; her brother James Scott Knaus; her sister-in-law Shari Lundberg (Kjell); her parents-in-law, Harold and Carolyn Carter; her stepsiblings, Carla Ward and Christopher Ward (Shelly); her nieces and nephews, Elin Lundberg, Jered Ward, Zachary Ward, Matthew Ward and Danielle Knaus; her aunt Joyce Flaherty; and her close friend Michelle Chase. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
