With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Carole Short (Bothell, Washington), born in Redondo Beach, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Larson and Eleda Larson; her husband Tom Short; her siblings, Joann Read and Norman Larson; and her son Samuel Short.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Short (Mary) and Susan Lemke (Craig); her grandchildren, Ryan, Caitlin Short, Peter and Jacqueline Lemke; and her brothers, Bill Short (Ruthie), Pat Veale (John), Doug Short (Judy), Richard Short (Debbie) and Terry Wallace (Travis). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Evergreen Hospice, Homeward Pets, or First Lutheran Church of Bothell.
