He was predeceased by: his grandfather Harold "Pop" Keeney; his brother Steven Haynes; his parents, Lowell Haynes and Evelyn Haynes (Keeney); and his brother-in-law Jim Aries.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Jennifer Suckut (Todd); his grandchildren, Trent and Josie Suckut; his siblings, Bob Haynes (Kathy) and Susan Jundt; his niece Heidi Morris (Dan); his great-nieces, Siena and Audrey Morris; and his sister-in-law Annette Aries.
