He is survived by: his parents, Jeff and Tina; his brother Damon; his grandparents, Gus and Gregoria Dounis; his uncle James; his aunt Jodi Dounis; his cousin Kosta; his uncle Mike; his aunt Traci Lewis; his cousins, T. J., Kyle and Sean; his uncle Doug; and his aunt Suzanne.
After spending his freshman year at Gonzaga University in Spokane during the pandemic, he returned to Bothell and attended Cascadia College.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Alex's legacy in our community, gifts, and donations made in his honor will go to the Northshore YMCA in support of local families.
