He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Mae Hayes Wilson and Ronald Lee Hayes (Janet Hayes); and his niece Melissa Carr. He is survived by: his son Ronald Lee Hayes; his stepdaughters, Sarah and Jobina; and his sisters, Colleen Mary Hayes, Patricia Kelly Hayes, Pamela Jean Bailey (Dale), Charlotte Sweet and Becky Townsley (Jason).
