He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Laub and Viola Laub; and his siblings, Paul Laub, Bob Laub and Susie Laub.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Mike Laub (Suzanne), Ann Hansen, Dianna Van Dyke (Zeke) and Beckey Laub; his grandchildren, Bailey Hansen (Shaila) of Ashley Hansen, Sam Van Dyke (Rachael), Jesse Van Dyke (Briana), Todd Van Dyke (Jenna), Miranda, Wendy and Justin; and his siblings, Betty Kuhn (Fred), Barbara James (Bill), Ella Olston (John) and Don Laub.
