He was predeceased by: his son Patrick; and his siblings, Jesse "Bud" Downey and Geneva Lamphere. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Jim Jr. Flannery (Scott) and Michael; and his pet Jake. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
