He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Ripley and Mary Ann Ripley; his wife Roberta Ripley; his children, Louis Ripley, Robert Ripley, William Ripley and Adria Van Boven; and his stepson Steve Simmons.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond Ripley and Mariko Chervenock (Bill); his stepson Terry Simmons; and his daughters-in-law, Anne Ripley and Beth Simmons. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
