He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hoyt Metts and Muriel Metts; and his sister Bonnie Gail Metts Bearce. He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Cole of Monroe and Patty Hackett of Lone Jack, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Howard Bearce, Chris Bearce, Michael Hackett, Matthew Hackett, Angela Roach, Jennifer Turner and Kyanna Moody.
