He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Robert (Sharon), Ryan, Sam, Gavin and Kellie; his siblings, Melanie Cobb, Michael (Melanie) and Lance; his grandchildren, Amorette and Isaiah; and his caregiver Carrie. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, in-laws, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation or Brigadoon Service Dogs.
