He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Allen Leavy and Isabel H. Leavy (Fiorito); his wife Debbie Hill-Leavy; his children, Laura Lindsey (Chad), Lynnette Shephard (Jon "Shep") and Tia Baker; his grandchildren, Jackson and Jenna Baker; and his sister Monica Wright (T. Sean Smith).
